Worked with the law firms of Choate, Hall, and Stuart, and Hale and Dorr, Boston which represented Faucher’s OfficeLand 26 store franchise chain acquired by Staples in 1991. Prepared all UFOC documents and Franchise Agreements. Attended legal workshops conducted by the International Franchise Association *1987 – 1991 – President of OffCom, Inc. of Marlboro, MA. In conjunction with MITAC International of Taiwan manufactured and distributed OfficeLand 286 Personal Computers. Sold through both the Wall Street Journal and all OfficeLand stores. |
• 1992-1995 CEO, Office Oasis, Inc., Londonderry, NH 3 store chain also acquired by Staples Represented by and worked with by Hale and Dorr of Boston, and Manchester, NH. Prepared all UFOC and Franchise Agreements. *1994-1998 Vice President of Aethra Telecommunications of Ancona, Italy. Under Giulio Viezzoli (founder) became project manager for the installation of videoconferencing at Cable & Wireless from their Caribbean headquarters in the Cayman Islands. Installed telemedicine from all the islands to Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami.
